Blackest Night Prelude: Rage of The Red Lanterns

How Everything Flows Together: perfect as you expect with this kind of collection

The Storyline: it's actually 2 in 1.  The first half gives us the fallout from the Sinestro Corps War and the 2nd immediately brings us into the War of Light & the Introduction of more lanterns that draw power from the emotional spectrum ( blue ,red, magenta & orange are the new ones so far) but concentrates on the beginnings of the Red Lantern Corps.

Artistry: a bit blurry but that's more than likely my phone.

re-readability: 100%

Why I Liked/Didn't Like It: i loved it.  It had action, heartache & everything you'd want in a good comic (IMO)

My Rating: * * * * * out of 5

Final Thoughts: stories like this are why i Green Lantern is my favorite.  I've read it twice and will probably read it a bunch more.  The entire Blackest Night storyline is amazeballs.

Old Man Logan

How Everything Flows Together: It's a single story so about as good as you'd expect.

The Storyline: It's set 50 years in the future and the supervillains have taken over the United States. The only hero left is Wolverine after every other Marvel hero is dead but he's become a pacifist and hasn't popped his claws in 50 years. He lives in what was once California but is now an arid desert controlled by an insane Bruce Banner and his inbred brood The Hulk Gang. Hawkeye (no longer a superhero due to being blind) comes and tells Logan he needs a navigator to deliver a shipment to New Babylon (formerly DC) to give to the resistance.

Long story short there is no resistance and Hawkeye is shot right in front of Logan by a fat Hitler looking SHIELD agent who then gets dragged to President Red Skull.  Logan kills Red Skull with Captain America's old shield and uses pieces of Tony Stark's old Iron Man suit to get back home to Cali where he finds his wife and 2 children dead after being killed on Banner's orders. Seeing this Logan pops his claws for the first time in 50 years and kills the entire Hulk Gang with the exception of Bruce Banner Jr whom Logan takes to start a new team of heros. He then decides to go after all the villains.

Artistry: It's amazing.  Everything is so crisp and clean it looks like a computer did it.

re-readability: 100%.  I've already read it a dozen times since I bought it

Why I Liked/Didn't Like It: I absolutely loved it. A great story, great artistry and it never gets boring no matter how many times you read it.

My Rating: * * * * * out of 5

Final Thoughts: Having loved Wolverine since I was 5 I went into this with high expectations and this exceeded each and everyone. Definitely a must read for any & all Wolverine fans.

The Criteria I will be using

How Everything Flows Together: The Flow of the comic is what I'll be looking at here. This category may surprise you.

The Storyline: The plot. I'll give a brief overview and my thoughts on it.

Artistry: The art of a comic book is vital to its success. I'll be talking about that here.

re-readability: Whether I would read it again. Anywhere from 0%-100%.

Why I Liked/Didn't Like It: What I liked and didn't like about the Graphic Novel. Basically everything above with some things I may not have added.

My Rating: Anywhere between 1 & 5 stars (*) with 1/4 increments.

Final Thoughts: Just some personal thoughts. Doesn't have any bearing on my rating.

Up Next: The next Graphic Novel I will be reviewing.
